Thanks! I don’t know if I’ll ever want to read it- too sad for me- (I didn’t even watch the whole movie) but I loved your review! And I think that what you said about Scarlett and Rhett is true of every male/female relationship. Someone, but preferably both, will have to humble their pride for it to succeed. And Melanie shows the way to win in life, though you don’t have to be that gullible. It takes strength of character to do what’s right, even to your enemies. I love Cinderella for this also.
Life is like a Choose-Your-Own-Ending book. As a woman, do you want to end up like the old 1930’s Snow White or the latest iteration? I think Ziegler’s Snow White wouldn’t have survived the huntsman, actually.
I wish I would have joined in on this. Not too late to read it though!
I hope you puck it up and love it!
Shannon, superior insightful review. Thank you.
Thank you, Alice!

So true. I think the movie is sadder than the book…maybe because it has less depth to make up for the sad parts.
And I’ve heard that audiences are wishing the new Snow White hadn’t survived the huntsman. 😂
